TEVEKKUL — TERMS OF USE

1. PARTIES AND SCOPE

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between Göktuğ Usta ("we") and any person who uses the Tevekkul mobile application (the "App") ("you", the "User").

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

Tevekkul is a mobile application that helps you follow prayer times, organise your daily plan around those times, keep a dhikr count and read supplications.

The core features of the App are free and contain no advertising. The optional "Tevekkul Supporter" subscription unlocks additional convenience and personalisation features. No religious content or core act of worship is placed behind a payment.

3. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT PRAYER TIMES

Prayer times are calculated on your device using astronomical formulas, based on your location and the calculation method you select. The default method uses the parameters applied by the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet).

The calculated times may differ by a few minutes from the official calendar of your local religious authority. Altitude, horizon correction and local administrative decisions account for this difference. When in doubt, we recommend relying on the official calendar of your location.

The App makes no warranty as to the absolute accuracy of the calculated times.

4. ACCOUNT

You may use the App without creating an account. If you choose to create one:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of the information you provide.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account and the confidentiality of your password.
  • You must notify us immediately if you become aware of unauthorised use of your account.

In anonymous use, your data is tied only to the session on that device. If you uninstall the App or sign out, you will no longer be able to access that data.

5. USER OBLIGATIONS

While using the App, you agree:

  • To comply with applicable law,
  • Not to attempt to damage the App's infrastructure,
  • Not to reverse engineer the App or attempt to access its source code,
  • Not to send excessive requests through automated tools,
  • Not to attempt to access other users' data.

We reserve the right to suspend or close your account if these obligations are breached.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All rights in the App's design, interface, software, brand and logo belong to Göktuğ Usta. These terms grant you a limited, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The Qur'anic verses, hadith texts and supplications contained in the App are religious sources in the public domain. Their sources are indicated within the App and in the "Content and Sources Statement" document.

7. YOUR CONTENT

The tasks, notes and records you create in the App belong to you. We store and process this content solely to provide the service to you. We do not share it with third parties, publish it, or use it commercially.

8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to provide the App without interruption. However, service may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures or force majeure. We do not warrant that the App will operate without interruption or error.

We reserve the right to change, limit or discontinue particular features. We will give advance notice of changes that directly affect a paid subscription.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect damages arising from use of the App,
  • Loss of data,
  • Consequences arising from differences in prayer time calculations,
  • Notifications that fail to arrive for reasons originating from your device.

This limitation does not cover wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. APPLE-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store:

  • These terms are between you and us; Apple Inc. is not a party.
  • We alone are responsible for maintenance and support of the App.
  • We are responsible for the defence of any claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
  • The App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (Standard EULA). In the event of a conflict between these terms and Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement prevails with respect to the conflicting provision.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes within the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. TERMINATION

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We reserve the right to terminate your account if you breach these terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes. Users who qualify as consumers retain their right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts.
